Projects in use.
Three projects, from analysis to operation.
Booking system with app
Online booking, management app and website for a hair salon
- Starting point
- Bookings through a platform with a monthly fee. Customer data and booking rules with the provider, no own website. The salon works on a smartphone.
- Solution
- Own booking system on the existing web space: website with price list, online booking in three steps, management app on the smartphone. Website and app access the same appointment data.
- Technology
- Own database and API, app as an installable web app without the App Store. Double bookings technically ruled out, access and cancellation links protected, spam protection without a third-party service.
- Testing
- Over 1,000 automated checks of booking logic, security and accessibility, plus acceptance on the real device.
- Operation
- Daily backup, confirmation and reminder emails, system status visible in the app. The platform was cancelled, the data stays with the business.

Bilingual website
Website for a Munich law firm
- Starting point
- Two languages, mandatory professional details for a law firm, enquiries with a legal-insurance query. Hosting and email were to stay with the existing provider, no domain move.
- Solution
- 22 pages in German and Turkish from one source, contact form without third parties, map without a map service before the click. Operated within the existing email plan.
- Technology
- Astro, statically built, form delivery in PHP. Six security headers including a strict Content Security Policy. Fonts and maps on the own server, no connection to third parties before consent.
- Testing
- Lighthouse 100 in all four categories on mobile. Privacy check 26 of 26 points, link check without errors, all redirects and headers verified live. Mandatory details under BRAO, RVG and DDG approved with the client.

Native Android app

Shelf: a personal library as an app
An app for a personal book collection. Scanning works fully offline: recognition takes place on the device, without an internet connection and without a third-party service.
- Task
- Capture books without typing: read the barcode with the camera, even without mobile reception. Complete the book data automatically, keep the collection in sync on all devices, read books in the app.
- Solution
- Native Android app. The barcode scanner works entirely on the device, the recognition models are part of the app, no image leaves the device. Book data is matched against the open OpenLibrary catalogue, EPUB files are read in the app, the collection syncs through a cloud database.
- Why it is here
- The project shows what matters in native apps: offline operation, device access, external interfaces, file formats, synchronisation. The appointment solution is a web app; this app covers the other end of the spectrum.
